RIVER SECTIONS AND FISH:
You are fishing on the catch & release part of the Hornád river in Veľká Lodina. All sectors and beats are clearly marked and your sector and beats will be appointed to you during the morning draw. A definative river map wil be handed to you at the event registration in the morning. You are fishing for Rainbow trout mainly, but also Brown trout, Chub, Nase and Barbel count as point fish.
LICENSES AND TRAINING:
The registration fee includes the regional fishing license and permits you to fish during the race day.
On 28 and 29 May, two days prior to the event, the race sections are closed for fishing. Training is allowed on two other designated trout sections. Your registration fee includes the regional fishing license and permits you to fly fish on one training day (Friday 29 May) under Catch and Release conditions.
A national fishing permit is obligatory. These are available in each local municipal office. Prices for a national license are:
Euro 1,50 - For one week
Euro 3,00 - For one month
Euro 7,00 - For one year
Euro 17,00 - For three years
ACCOMMODATIONS:

COMPETITION RULES:
- You are assigned with your beats and as a competitor A or B at a random draw before the race;
-You are fishing 3 x 1 hour sessions on several beats based upon a random draw;
- You are fishing with an assigned competitor in every beat who will control you;
- You are controlling 3 x 1 hour sessions on several beats for an assigned competitor.
- Two sessions are fished by you before the lunch break (A competitors will start the first session, B competitors wil control the first session) and you are fishing one session after the lunch break (B competitors will start fishing the first session after the lunch break, A competitors will control the first session after the lunch break);
- You are changing beats after every 1 hour session.
